Alright ladies, let’s dive into a crucial topic that’s often overlooked in prepping: self-defense and personal safety. The reality is that in a post-disaster world, safety becomes even more paramount, and as women, we need to be proactive.

I’ve been working hard to enhance my self-defense skills. In addition to carrying pepper spray and a personal alarm, I recently started taking self-defense classes. Krav Maga has been my go-to - it’s empowering and practical. Knowing how to protect myself is essential, especially when the stakes are high.

Beyond physical skills, situational awareness is vital. I make it a habit to stay alert and be aware of my surroundings. Trusting my instincts is key; if something feels off, I don’t hesitate to leave the situation.

Remember, personal safety should be a top priority in our prepping efforts. What measures have you taken to ensure your safety? Let’s share our strategies and empower one another!
